Chris Roe is an advocate for high quality, inclusive education for all students. Roe most recently served as president and Chief Executive Officer of the California STEM Learning Network, where his organization helped implement new science and engineering standards, expand computer science education, and secure major new funding for these efforts. Roe also previously served as Deputy Director for the Business-Higher EducationForum (BHEF) and managed an education research center at Stanford University. He also co-founded Foundation for a College Education, which recently marked 20 years in helping first-generation college-going students attend college and attain their degrees.Roe received a Masters in Public Policy from University of California, Berkeley and aB.S. degree from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. He recently relocated to NewOrleans with his family, including two young boys with special needs.
