Gregory M. St. Etienne is accomplished in the areas of banking, finance and operations management. While he has held executive positions in city government, wealth management and technology engineering firms, the bulk of Mr. St. Etienne’s career has been in the banking industry. From the Spring of 2005 to the Fall of 2006, he served as Vice-Chairman and CEO of First Independence Bank in Detroit, Michigan. He began his banking career at Liberty Bank and Trust Company in New Orleans, Louisiana in 1985, where he served most of his twenty year stint as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. 

Serving as a financial consultant to small businesses and community banks, Mr. St. Etienne is also an entrepreneur having owned a transportation company and a real estate development firm. He also served as CEO of a non-profit loan fund from 2008 to 2010 which supported the local small business community. 

A lifelong resident of New Orleans, Mr. St. Etienne holds a B.B.A. degree in Accounting and an M.B.A. from Loyola University, New Orleans and is a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking of the South at Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge.
